Let me introduce myself:

I'm Lyda Ozinga, I'm married to Kees and I have two daughters. My hobbies are showing my dogs at shows and breeding Maltese dogs.
20 years ago I had two Yorkshire terriers. Those were dogs for in the house and not for showing.
After those dogs I had no dogs for 2 years. I thought I could be without a dog but this was not to be.
I searched for a small dog, similar to Yorkshire terriers and finally after much searching I came across the Maltese breed.

Via the Maltese association we found an address were we could obtain a
puppy. This puppy we named Lizzy.

With my first Maltese I did one show but I didn't like it, but my oldest daughter (Kirsten) did.
Kirsten is now showing my dogs at the shows.
After a while I decided to raise a litter of this breed.
My daughter Kirsten found this a lovely idea so my daughter and I raised this first litter.
After this litter we decided to begin a kennel.

I hope that I've told you enough about myself and I hope that this website gives you a lot of information about the Maltese.
